Can I assign an employee to each field-service job?
Yes. When creating a field-service job, you select the responsible employee. The employee calendar then shows who is scheduled with which customer or at which service location and at what time.
Field-service scheduling for small businesses
Schedule customer orders, service locations and employees in one central calendar. Changes remain clear to your team, and completed orders can be taken through to invoicing without duplicate data entry.

Motorica connects the employee calendar with customers, service locations, quotations and invoices. You enter master data once and reuse it throughout the workflow. This lets the office see who is working where and when—and completed orders can be invoiced without entering the data again.
The Motorica employee calendar shows who is scheduled with which customer and when.
The appointment is in the calendar, the address arrives in a message, and the agreed service is stored in a spreadsheet. This may still work when there are only a few orders. But as the number of customers, service locations and employees grows, so do follow-up questions, duplicate data entry and conflicting information. Motorica brings all key details together in one field-service job.
When creating a field-service job, you select the customer, the relevant service location and the responsible employee. You then enter the time period, break and any other required details. The finished appointment appears in the employee calendar and can be adjusted there immediately if anything changes.
The calendar shows your team’s scheduled field-service jobs by time period, customer and service location. If someone is ill or on leave, or an appointment is rescheduled, you change the assignment directly in the relevant field-service job. Authorised employees can also view their approved appointments while away from the office.
A customer can have several service locations or properties. In Motorica, customers and service locations are maintained separately and then linked in the relevant appointment. This keeps contacts, addresses and responsibilities available exactly where they are needed.
Once the service has been completed, the links to the customer, service location and order are retained. You review the completed services, create the invoice and then keep track of its payment status. Field-service scheduling therefore does not end in the calendar—it carries the order through the commercial workflow.
Motorica is particularly well suited to self-employed professionals and small businesses that regularly schedule employees at customer sites or different service locations. It delivers the greatest benefit when scheduling, customer data and billing no longer need to be managed in separate programs.
Field-service scheduling is part of Motorica. Employee management, quotations, invoices, documents, MIRA and payment matching all belong to the same system. You do not need additional scheduling or employee packages for the features described here.
